3 Reasons to Drink More Water

STAYING HYDRATED IS KEY FOR:

#1 Brain Power: Your brain needs energy to function properly. When you start to feel that mid-afternoon headache creep in or you’re feeling groggy, take a look at where you are with your water intake for the day.

#2 Workouts/Recovery: Want to crush your workouts and not feel so exhausted after? Hydrate before, during and after your workouts. If you’re exercising outside or a heavy sweater, you might consider replenishing with electrolytes.

#3 Digestion: Keep your digestive system moving to prevent bloating and constipation

Are you drinking enough water? Aim to get at least ½ your body weight in ounces of water every day. For example, a person who weighs 180 pounds should get at least 90 ounces of water.
