Perfect Protein Shake Recipe

This recipe uses a blender to make a frothy protein shake! It shouldn’t be gritty or powdery tasting when you’re done blending.

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces milk of choice (cow’s, almond, coconut, etc)

1.5 scoops protein powder (Optimum Nutrition chocolate is delicious for this)

1-2 Tbsp PB2 powder

7-8 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS:

Add ingredients in the order listed above. Blend for 15-20 seconds until well mixed, no signs of ice chunks. Enjoy!

Nutrition facts note: this protein shake can easily help you reach half of your protein goals for the day depending on the amount of protein powder you use, type of milk (soy and cow’s milk will have protein), and even the PB powder. I recommend using protein supplements for reaching only up to 1/2 of your total protein goal for the day.
